Citizens may address the Mayor and City Council at a Regular Council Meeting.
Persons wishing to address the Mayor and City Council are asked to fill out a “yellow card” providing their name, address, organization (if applicable) and the topic. These cards are available in the Council Chambers and except for Public Hearings, must be completed and submitted to the City Clerk PRIOR to the beginning of the meeting.
If the item is on the agenda, you be able to speak at the time the item is being discussed by the Mayor and the City Council.
If the item is not on the agenda, you will be given the opportunity to speak during the "Call to the Public" portion of the agenda.
At the conclusion of the Call to the Public, individual City Council Members may (1) respond to criticism made by those who have spoken (2)direct staff to review or respond to the matter, and/or (3) direct that the matter be put on a future agenda.
Your comments should be addressed to Mayor and Council as whole and will be limited to three (3) minutes.
