Investigations Division
The Investigative Assistant assigned to the Division assists Detectives in case preparation and management. A Crime Scene Specialist is assigned to the Division to assist Detectives in processing crime scenes and evidence processing.
Inter-Agency Task Forces
Members of the division also are assigned to state and federal task forces in order to combat crime and apprehend offenders. |
G.I.I.T.E.M (Gang and Immigration Team Enforcement Mission). GIITEM is a statewide multi-agency task force consisting of five districts that provide gang and illegal immigration enforcement and intelligence services.

The purpose of the US Marshal's Fugitive Task Force is to combine the efforts of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to locate and apprehend the most dangerous fugitives and assist in high profile investigations. |
Sex Offender Registration
The Division works closely with the Arizona Department of Public Safety to ensure that all Registered Sex Offenders living in the City of El Mirage comply with state law. If a Registered Sex Offender is living in your neighborhood you will be notified. The information on these notifications is not intended to increase fear. The notification is intended to make our community a more informed community and therefore a safer community. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass sex offenders will not be tolerated.
