Car Seat Safety

CPR Classes

The El Mirage Fire Department offers quarterly community Level CPR/First Aid classes taught by your own Fire Department personnel. Participants who successfully complete the class will receive a CPR 1st Aid card which is valid for 2 years.

Safe Haven for Newborns

In 2001, a law went into effect creating a "safe haven" for parents of newborns (those not more than 30 days old) who are considering abandoning the newborn.
